nude - radio head lyrics - in rainbows

Don't get any big ideas
They're not going to happen
You paint yourself white
And fill in the noise
But they'll be something missing

And now that you've found it- its gone

and now that you feel it- you don't
You've gone off the rails

So don't get any big ideas,
They're not going to happen

You'll go to hell for what your dirty mind is thinking

Egypt + Israel = talk

The Issue - Gaza - as usual - None want ownership on the neighborhood - but both have major interest in the region. Talk is good - talk is very good - keep on talking - and listen too.

It's been announced - Russia is selling S-300 missiles to Iran - a new strong defense missiles some say better than the Patriot. - Iran will pay about $300 million a year....- what does that mean ? - It's an on going deal - not a one time trade ? - This world is going DOWN. - Russia+Iran+Syria >VS.< US+Israel

- Do you think the jews have the capability to shake the earth?

oscar buzz 07 -

The race for Oscar night 2008 is on -We approach the last week of 2007 - The last week for you to screen your movie in Los Angels if you would like it to be considered for Oscars 2008.

ONE WEEK of public viewing in Los Angeles is the period required by the ACADEMY, for a movie, by any producer who wishes to submit it for the competition - yeah it is a competition - one needs to register to it, and qualify according to the rules. It's a business - like anything else on this planet earth.

The Oscars; i am looking for a word to describe it - i want to say....... - well it's a word i know, in hebrew, pronounced: "NICHSAFF- נכסף " - This word is originated from another word that means and sounds in hebrew like silver and money. - It means - the most wished for, the most desired, like a coin, a treasure one wishes to find so all his problems will be solved.
that's what an Oscar is for film makers.

Forgot to mention that last night I was invited to go see a pre screening of the Kite Runner - surly a movie u'll want to go see if u read the book. I think the book was better some was cut out. They also added stuff. It was mostly in the afgan language so we had to read titles - the writer was there and talked about how he likes to write between 12 and 5 am in the morning.

- yeah i think as being a writer myself we thrive to be distant from the world  - So sorry everyone if you feel i am being so distant.

There is a year to do lots of things - and my most pessimistic prediction is this: WAR - a big one - Bush leave with a bang. A few cities are bombed in a world war scenario then Giuliani comes to save America, father figure already in everyone's minds after Sep 11 and the republicans keep the power? - could be no?

Bush is heading to Israel next month - to support... Let's see what people say about that

NEW MONTH

A new month, A new day, - Pearl-Jam on the I-pod, "ONCE".

Sent and email message yesterday looking for Antonio Banderas:

I have a perfect project developed for him - It's has an ancient Spanish spice to it but still American. A musical comedy Almodovar/Baz Luhrmann style. _- A fairy tale love story set in a futuristic fantasy world and very relevant for today as it deals with Vanity and world peace matters. "NEW CLOTHES"

Pink Floyd on the Ipod "MAROONED"

i am

Sfaradi, that's ancient jewish spanish heritage, from the Levy or Levi tribe, was a Pedro Almodóvar fun since "Law Of Desire" was released. (1987) that's 20 years ago. so i am going to arrange a special screening for this movie for people who have not scene it yet or people who want to watch it again - maybe Antonio Banderas will show or Almodovar. probably i will watch it alone - no i won't i promise.

Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire

Hillary Clinton is now not under threat it seems - That was a scenario. nice? Not really.

In Los Angeles today, rain... on my ipod now is "Wash me clean" by K.D.Land - how appropriate for a rainy day.

Blog this was created to express my opinion on things.

This blog is my voice - hand written. Enjoy

My truth is the most important thing to me.

Also a city is being evacuated because of a bomb threat? - Well... Drama -

Who is trying to kill off Hillary Clinton?

So Hillary is under fire - it seems. more coming up. mixes confused reports on our desk this morning Drama - East coast

Wedding Crashers

We watched the uncorked version - not that i saw the other version - but funny Owen wilson and Vince Vaughn - lead a silly comedy that never really picks up and get;s you laughing - just a silly grin on the face no more.

THE WAR AT HOME

Season one - first 3 episodes got me hooked. awesome new family show for the probably next few years - so then i continued to watch - 4-7 and it proved me right. - just fun - Jewish/Italian family, with 3 kids. funny funny. - plays a lot on gay jokes without being gay. - let's see where it goes and if i write about it more - i did order the next two dvd's - and was happy to find that on imdb they are listing two and more season's - i think i'd like to write them an episode.
Michael Rapaport ... Dave Gold

Anita Barone ... Vicky Gold

Kaylee DeFer ...Hillary Gold

Kyle Sullivan ... Larry Gold

Dean Collins ... Mike Gold

Rami Malek ... Kenny

WEEDS - SEASON 3 FINALE

The characters:

MARY-LOUISE PARKER
Nancy Botwin struggles with the sudden death of her husband and agonizes over how she'll support and raise two young boys on her own. Without any discernable career skills, the widow Botwin finds good paying work as the local pot dealer in the pristine, new LA suburb known as Agrestic. There's definitely a double meaning when this girl puts on her Mary Janes.

ELIZABETH PERKINS
Celia Hodes is the imperious, calculating and superficial PTA president and fellow super mom. She is Nancy's friend and nemesis, tightly wound into one darn good Machiavellian manipulator, capable of fiendishness and friendship.

KEVIN NEALON
Doug Wilson is Nancy's accountant and business advisor, not to mention one of her best cannabis clients. He's good-hearted and well-intended but his advice and counsel is not usually the result of clear thinking.

JUSTIN KIRK
Andy Botwin, Nancy's aimless brother-in-law, with no visible means of supporting himself, moves in with Nancy and the boys. He's obsessed with get-rich-quick schemes until he finds out about Nancy's lucrative pot business, and invites himself to become her partner.

TONYE PATANO
Heylia, the strong-willed matriarch of an inner-city family, is the pot supplier for Nancy's new business. Ironically, Heylia and her extended family also supply Nancy with the support she needs and hopes to provide for her own afflicted family.

ROMANY MALCO
Conrad Shepard is Heylia's nephew, he takes particular interest in Nancy, professionally and personally.

HUNTER PARRISH
Silas Botwin 15-year-old, Nancy's oldest son, is forced to become the man of the house after his father passes away. His grief and teenage insecurities have adverse affects on girlfriends, friends and family.

ALEXANDER GOULD
Shane Botwin is Nancy's loveable and imaginative youngest son, is the most vocal in grieving for his father and often acts out in bizarre and sometimes disturbing ways.

ANDY MILDER
Dean Hodes is Celia's husband who, this season, has just learned about her torrid affair with his friend and fellow pot smoking buddy, Doug.

ISABELLA HODES
Isabelle Hodes is Celia and Dean's daughter who, much to her mother's chagrin, is a plus-sized children's wear spokesmodel with lesbian tendencies.

MATTHEW MODINE
Sullivan Groff is an unscrupulous real estate developer who quickly becomes central in Nancy's quest for a legal moneymaking job; she ends up working as his assistant.

MARY-KATE OLSON
Tara Lindman is the good Christian girl-next-door who immediately strikes up a romance with Silas and becomes Nancy's best dealer.

THERE YOU HAVE IT

Eternal Bliss Poster

Who Is This ?

Lord Of War - DVD

thank you - finally a movie they don't want you to watch - all about fire arms and the law that it's easy to bend and just avoid - the true money game on this planet is and always be war money - guns missiles and what not.
Nicholas Cage, Jered Leto and Ethan Hawke - all great. need to be seen.

BORAT - DVD

okay - second / third / forth time around - always gets you - the secret if this movie is that it's not a movie - you can miss the beginning join it in the middle and still enjoy - it's episodic and fun. you go Sacha - and no i am not his brother - thou am from Israel and he speaks the same language in the movie- i totally behave worse than him. very nice. I just don't allow myself to walk around with a mustache.
watch watch watch - jews are funny and can make a good joke on their own kind - every single one should learn this - but don't be stupid - If you are not a jew you can't really take his and twist it against the jews - at least be original when you are a racist.

Yea, it's Ali G. who drove madonna in her video MUSIC.

AND _ on the DVD you get to see more funny stuff - so check the special features - like baywatch Borat style and more.

Alpha Dog - DVD

Finally i get to see this movie. Inspired by true events - and presented to you writer director: Nick Cassavetes which is name was real hard to find on the box. Justin Timberlake really wants to cross over to the big screen - maybe with few move VOICE lessons he'll get more rolls - he is good - but why no mention Sharon Stone - what - is that only a privilege for people who actually watch the movie - she is just plain great in the mother's roll - and Bruce Willis, yet another cameo roll works - he sure loves doing them.
All the witness # is not really necessary - just tell the story - people who go watch the movie on the big screen - don't get Special Features - like on DVD - well maybe that's a sign distribution didn't count on ticket sales only on DVD -

he complete white movie it is also - white trash/ but rich - tattoos - alcohol, weed, hmmmm.

Over all - Hip but sad - Everybody wants to rule the world.

the lights fade - DVD

Come on - Jake Busey, Brckin Meyer, Denise Richard on the front cover of the DVD.
The movie is about Tanya Allen and she does not get to be on the front?

okay, then what is it about? - Love? Couples? Road Trip? How did they sell this movie? - The guy who usually played a blond bully in other teen movies - now in relationship - and with best friend on a road trip in Canada heading to capitalize a weed grow house in Vancouver. - - HO YEAH almost forgot Elizabeth Berkley is in too. - i watched it cause i promised myself to go back and write about movies - So i did - You don't have to.

Maybe you'll want to watch the next movie i wrote about.

Lucca

Mindhunters

Who is the killer? - Profiling, behind the minds of FBI agents - great concept then they get to an island and start looking for a killer.

Very good looking Eion Bailey - lots of blood and yeah - Christian Slater / Val Kilmer / LL Cool J / and hmmmmmmmm Patricia Velasquez.

But how would Val Kilmer know the killer was a puppeteer?

Only in Israel nov 4

ONLY IN ISRAEL

12 years ago - a man brought democracy to an end. An end to an age where leaders are not any longer on a mission for peace.

12 years ago - A man shot Isaac Rabin, the Israeli Prime minster, just a few minutes after he, Rabin, has finished to sing "Song for peace" in a rally in front of thousands of spectators.

12 years ago - The man who shot Rabin knew he will stay alive as there is no death penalty sentence in Israel.

12 years later - In Jail - the killer was allowed to get married, and get ALONE time with his wife to produce, 7 days ago, the killer's first new born boy.

TODAY - 12 years later, ON THE EXACT DAY OF THE MURDER of Israeli prime minister, Isaac Rabin, The killer's son is having, by the Jewish tradition, "A Brit Milah" (Circumcision ceremony.) Un believable - "Thou Shall not Kill " a JEWISH religious quote - has slapped all worshipers on the face. -

What a mockery to the system this is.

- ONLY IN ISRAEL -

Walk On Water (DVD) / The Life Of Others

wow, a great movie from Israel/Germany/Turkey. An Israeli Clive Owen is a top Mossad agent, going through an emotional journey after the suiside of his wife. An amazing social thriler, I watched it after "The Life Of Others," - a great / amazing double feature. The Life Of Others had me in tears the moment the last frame froze.

Exterminating Angeles

So yeah - I finnally saw the movie. Very sensual regards women.

The Queen

London 1997, Diana dies - the world is in shock. - the british know best how to make reality movies
- what went behind close doors - or what they want us to know. - usually not the real truth.

I miss Diana - only once our paths crossed - it was in Harrods nail varnish department - she walked up to me looking at the colors i choose - she nodded - "nice" and walked away - i guess she just came downstairs from seeing Dodi.

MAKE UP - Did not make much sense to work so hard only on some roles - the actor playing prince Charles did not look like him at all. -

The Reaping

Scientific horror movies don't really hit the spot. Smart sexy body Hillary Swank gives us a breakdown of the ten biblical plagues. Too much information could distract from being scared - but also the man sitting next to me chewing on ice cubes at the Mann Chinese free preview screening was disturbing.

Great effects, little blond girl possessed, ( seen that before ) - Well, the writers did give it a twist as the movie progresses but why not be original from the start ? Playing safe not always works.

Curious to see what it will do in the box office.

Director: Stephen Hopkins

Chad & Carey Hayes adapted to screen a Brian Rousso story.

The Man Who Knew Too much

Che Sera Sera - what ever will be will be.

Alex & Emma (DVD)

Witty, smart - play like, small movie about writing. so cool how this unfolds, got to give the writer - TWO TUMBS UP! :
Jeremy Leven - WELL DONE.

how to develop a story, create triangles, comedy. with great acting.

First Daughter (DVD)

Holmes has these two puppy eyes - her face at times looks like split in to two different characters - BEAUTIFUL. - She carries one hell of a great figure and wants to take charge of her life while being the president's daughter. - Was this picture "Training" for what's to come in her private life?

Hotel Room (DVD)

Repeted episode in Black and White - with differnt endings.

Poor from start. Weak stories I just don't buy. Dead bride in the closet okay - but why not explore further - would a newly wed really leave his love in the closet? - What could not top the idea - is not been develpoed, another story starts, then another - What's the point? not really sure. -

The Pursuit of happyness

This movie is about a man's dream. Will Smith plays a father who sticks to his dream to become a stock broker, no matter what. Like most true stories everything works against him and slows him down in his pursuit. His to love for his son and his belief in himself keep him going.

There is not one racism reference throw-out the movie, it's beyond that, relating to everyone, as human - charming. - I don't get why during one of the final scenes, in the bathroom, when the employer genuinly wishes luck before the final day, an African American in the theater called out load - "It's not going to happen, you low class nigger!" - so wrong to still see and hear the self hateread some black people have in America.

This movie is about a man's dream who just happens to be black..

Director: Gabriele Muccino

Writer: Steve Conrad

Will Smith

dead silence

u scream u die. that's the motto of this movie. Will the lead male scream and die while searching for clues to why his wife screamed and died?

It's: "The wooden, puppet, freak show" with great sound effects and suspense that keep you glued to the back of your seat... thou you end up scaring your self more than the movie really does.

Match Point (DVD)

Fantastic execution of story telling. Woody Allan has created a stylish brilliant Hitchcock flick. Not a unusual choice for Allen,( a 90 minutes comic movie.)

Set in London darling, telling a story of love, lust, money and choices one takes in life. About luck, Opera, tennis and the perfect murder?

Everyone in this movie is great - excellent casting. Loved it.

"Freedom Writers"

Writing does help you deal with issues.

It's Dengerous Minds meet Shindler's list. that's what this movie is about - a true story about a class of students in Los Angeles and their teacher who will just do anything she can to educate. Just warm, it can bring a tear to your eye at times, just magic emotional ride. So very glad I did see this one. Fantastic.

300

Muscle men, monsters, Persian invasion of SPARTA. Lots of blood - the color RED never looked so good. At times the screen looks just like a good old huge renaissance painting, with similar narration as "Sin City'.

A saga about a king and his 300 warriors who will not surrender and not accept any peace offers - All they know and all they will do is just keep on fighting till the bitter end.

The Perfect man ( DVD )

A single mother moves with her two daughters to a new town to avoid dealing with her relationships. "This' Boys Life." - Girly style following the constant search/dream for the perfect match. - All happy, romantic Hollywood movies end in perfection, or/and - an indication of perfection. - this one too. What can I say? Cute and vain all over, don't vomit.

Out-takes show us how much fun it is to shoot a movie. Also to find on the DVD a conversation between the two leading ladies about parenthood.

Junked (DVD)

This movie follows a group of four junkies, one leader, another who wants the leadership and two other weak followers; A sexually confused boy and a whore who dreams about going to India.

A low budget movie, based on a true story, shot in a old factory - looks to me like somewhere downtown L.A. - what makes one of the plots - ('wanting to go to California') not believable.

The painted Vail

This movie is set in the amazing China. - I just want to get on the plane and go there; to the fields and old cities.

It starts with a promising falling in love scene followed by a very fun family conversation.
The story develops, the unsatisfied human nature wants more, hurts the good and is confronted with the truth.

A great journey, time and a great piano score can heal past love wounds, sadly they don't cure the deadly Cholera diseases the doctor is there to fight.

Frenzy. (DVD)

Rape and kill, what a great terrifying concept. A hunt for the guilty with increasing circumstances leading the police to incriminate the innocent.
The addition of sex to the Hitch(A)cock movie is just a treat.

Set in London darling, very stylish, british, lots of suspense, black sense of humor (my favorite) and birds view of hyde-park corner or it maybe Marble-Arch.

A must see.

Zodiac

An epic investigation without an ending. Suspense thriller, a hunt for the 60's - 70's Zodiac killer.

A few horrid killings and lots of speculation, following leads with no real results.

Jake Gyllenhaal is a cartoonist so obsessed with the killer's codes he starts his own investigation. A lovable charecter, all the girls in the theater scream sometimes for his safety.

Mark Ruffalo performance as the detective is great.

Oct. 11 (my birthday) appears twice during the movie. This date is also Claude's birthday. (The lead character in the movie HAIR) and it's Michael Douglas characters' birthday (Nicholas Van Orton) in the movie: 'THE GAME'.

Intentions (DVD)

A sexually confused amateur actress falls for wannabe director who is also married and a mother of two.

My intentions are not to dish but what starts as a promising look into the 'Behind the scenes' of the theater world, develops into a not well rehearsed drama with weak performance and directing.

The music only once helps forward the story - the rest of the time just distracts. Thou the ending gives hope. I'm not sure you'll have the patience to wait and find out.

Astronaut Farmer;

Based on a true story, isn't it just lovely to see a man follow his dream no matter what? - Lively, funny, engaging, with far to many cliché's - well what can you do - it's Reality.

A committed family peruses the father's dream - It's uplifting to see them; the most beautiful wife, amazingly cute little daughters (the two are real sisters and share the director's family name) and an incredible loyal son - sounds almost perfect, right? Well, wait - Add a comic FBI duo, Jay Leno as himself to make it a fun family Matinee.

Don't ever stop dreaming?

Disturbia ( @ paramount Studio's)

Is a sexy suburban thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Lots of innuendoes, keeping you guessing and wondering about paranoia and reality. It is disturbing, in a good way off course, to be sitting there questioning; what will happen next?
