The race for Oscar night 2008 is on -We approach the last week of 2007 - The last week for you to screen your movie in Los Angels if you would like it to be considered for Oscars 2008.
ONE WEEK of public viewing in Los Angeles is the period required by the ACADEMY, for a movie, by any producer who wishes to submit it for the competition - yeah it is a competition - one needs to register to it, and qualify according to the rules. It's a business - like anything else on this planet earth.
The Oscars; i am looking for a word to describe it - i want to say....... - well it's a word i know, in hebrew, pronounced: "NICHSAFF- נכסף " - This word is originated from another word that means and sounds in hebrew like silver and money. - It means - the most wished for, the most desired, like a coin, a treasure one wishes to find so all his problems will be solved.
that's what an Oscar is for film makers.
