Arrest in WeHo
As i was cycling to the swimming pool today, i turned R out of the alley into Sweetzer and as i was merging into Santa Monica blvd. And what i saw there, just opposite of city hall in front of the dry cleaners, was like out of an episode from a movie - but this was real.
7 or 8 tinted undercover SUV's and pick up trucks, started their short police sirens, a strip of red blue enhancing the rear dark windows... The cars stopped in a sudden. Out of each vehicle leaped an undercover cop in bullet prove vest holding a gun. Some where holding small hand gun others hard big machine guns. yeah. An end to an organized sting - They were probably waiting for this moment for months. looks like lots of undercover work - all for one middle aged not over weight but still well fed man. hands back - they cuffed him. - then they made him stand up - took his bag - searched through it and found something that made them happy - mission accomplished? -
" that's a bad man" a bypasses said. others came out of the city hall to watch - they got him in one of the suv's and drove off. . let's see if they are any reports about that. in the news - will keep you posted.
